An 18 October industry report says the 2 GW Khulais solar project completed piling on 6 October and is moving to mounting structures and module installation. The milestone predates this reporting week. It signals a change in construction stage, rather than a new piling contract or a completed power plant.

In an Arab News interview published on 16 October, NESR’s CEO discussed localising lithium technology and manufacturing. The interview follows the 8 October Aramco agreement: a roughly US$200 million demonstration project targeting 2,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate annually, with production planned for late 2027. These are targets, not current output or a newly signed agreement this week.
